You can also do :
service timestamps debug datetime msec
To get an accurate picture of the timeline for each
debug message.

You need to turn the debug on, and log the output which you can
either watch real time, or examine later (or both).
debug
dialer
debug isdn q931
those should be more than
enough.
don't forget to also do
term mon
and to log
it, just turn the logging ON on your terminal emulator.
