Nevermind, I've discovered the answer.  There used to be a model 1900C that
is half duplex only.  That is the model most prevalent at our location. 
That model is no longer available.  The 1900 series now consists of the 1912
and 1924, both of which can do full duplex on their 10 meg ports. It turns
out that we have two of those, so I verified visually that the duplex
options is, in fact, in the port configuration section on the 1924 model.
