I recently set up a 6506 with an 8 port Gbic Blade connected to four 4006. Each 4006 had two ports configured as a channel group, then set to trunk. I did not have aby problems. Here are the steps I followed: 1. Enable the ports 2. Define the channel group 3. Set trunking 4. Connect the fiber 5. The light should go green 6. If the light does not go "green," switch the fiber connectors. Chances are you have cable crossed Transmit to Transmit instead of Transmit to recieve.
