Did a review for the group on this one a week or so back.

Cisco Access Lists Field Guide by Gil Held and our very own Kent Hundley.

Has a good chapter on NAT / PAT with several case examples, each with a
detailed explanation as to what and why things are done that way.

Has a lot of good information on a number of security topics, including
IPSec and ( as the tile suggests ) more about access lists than you ever
thought possible  :->

Check it out.

Subject: Which book for advanced nat ?

Hello, I'd like some info on a book (or other resources) which does treat
/ has some chapter on Nat.
I'd like something with more than a basic treatment available like those
on CCO, which do explain the whole theory (obviously) but use rather
simple examples only; anything with more complex real life examples, how
to get them to work if you need to have multiple connections with
different configurations on the same router pointing to the same server,
pitfalls, DO/DON'T and things like that would be very welcome.

In other words I need to acquire the kind of knowledge I could get
playing around with a big lab and much time on my hands (both of which I
lack unfortunately).

Doesn't need to be necessarily a book, I'd use also lab notes,
whitepapers, study guides or other as long as I can get (buy) it and it's
good material :-)

Thanks
Heiko
