Pradeep is right. Since I joined the list last year there have always been posts that weren't technically cisco-specific but were relevant and of interest to the list members. I do agree that we should make an effort to cut down on the amount of unnecessary postings, of which there are many, but we have to realize that the list has grown beyond its original intent whether we like it or not. I've personally come to treasure the opinions of the members of this list and from time to time I've posted non-cisco-specific questions in the hopes that I would get relevant insights from those more experienced than me. So, in summary, I suppose I agree a little with both Pradeep and Luke. We should all try to stay on topic, but we should all be understanding when someone does stray off topic and realize that non-cisco posts can be interesting and relevant to other list members even if they do not interest us personally. It is, in fact, those very postings that give this list its wonderful personality. Just my $.05 (accounting for inflation and taxes) John Neiberger, CCNA/CCDA > I disagree.
