keepalives :-
this is a parameter you can seton DDR`s (routers that use dial-up lines for
wan`s) to make sure that while there is no traffic on your dial-up link,it
dosen`t end the call until x seconds have passed...handy because if you want
to read a config from a router you would have to keep typing something or
the connection would hang-up...
