CDP is enabled by default, but it's recommened that you disable it once you
get the WAN running because it's overhead traffic, and, in case of an
Internet connection, it's a well-known address (i.e. hackable).

Is the CDP protocol disabled by default on serial interfaces? I could not
see CDP neigbours accross a Frame Relay link.
