I have been going over the functionality of some protocols that I don't use often, but I want to cover them for the CCIE lab. I was trying to determine how different procotols learn about remote hosts. For example: IP and VINES both use an ARP-like function. What do other protocols such as DECNET, APOLLO, and CLNS use?
