This is a sample working configuration

Peer :

ntp authentication-key 1 md5 <key>
ntp authenticate
ntp trusted-key 1
ntp server 192.168.233.225 key 1
ntp server 192.168.233.226 key 1
ntp server 192.168.233.242 key 1
end

Michael,

The problem is instead of having a router be an NTP master it needs to
be a peer. If you do a search in the CCIE Lab archives there is some
lengthy discussions on this problem. I had the same problem with it,
it's one of those things that needs to be documented somewhere.
