I'm not anything part of cisco yet but i know that UDP is a connectionless
protocol whihc rely on broadcast. that's why FTP is a TCP/IP protocol which
uses. It ues TCP to establish a session in a server/client environment.
and TCP packet header/footer enabled packet checking capabilities.
