The baud rate @ the console was set for 2400, & I'd thought I'd seen it all. I'm still confused how changing the ROM's, FLASH, & finally the RAM did not release this config... just so you don;t go crazy on the 36xx boxes The 3620 and 3640 have a jumper on the motherboard that will reset the console baud rate to 9600. This can be used when the console baud rate is set to a speed that the attached terminal does not support, and you cannot use one of the standard methods to set the console speed.
