I also turn logging console of when I'm configuring routers so that I don't
see the messages. If you're connected the console more and aren't getting
and data try 'logging console'. It's also helpful to turn this off when
initially configuring a router so that you don't have all the interface up
messages, etc.

Subject: I type debug but nutthin happens !!

Hi all

I was under the impresion that if you are plugged in on the console , you
should see the debugs spewing on your screen if you do debug !
I did a debug on the serial & nothing happens ... So maybe nothing worthwile
does happen , but there must be !
Then I typed term mon . Usually thats only when you telnet hey ? And the
next thing I know here is all my debugging happening under my nose !
So if you debug and you see nothing and you feel silly , nobody would know ,
just do a term mon and it should come to you !

Hope it helps someone !
