What is the order most people take them in?
Is there a preferred order, like in the MCSE?

Yes, after filling out the survey, you must start at question #1 and go
forwards, there is no going backwards, so the order is the least of your
problems.
As for the individual tests, no specific order required, you just have to
pass all of them.
