You type
copy ?
and what you get is:
copy tftp[:[[//location][/pathname]]] flash[:[image | pdm]]
so you can assume, that copy tftp: flash:pdm will do the job...

and it won't affect the pix configuration, why should it? It's just a
configuration editing software, just like configmaker, only located on the
pix flash for your (in)convenience
