Hi I have a question here:

If i have 2 Routers and they are connected to the serial connection...
and the ethernet and the ISDN interfaces allso has a IP address.
AND THE ISDN LINE IS CONFUGRED AS BACKUP FOR THE SERIAL LINE.
(So is in standby mode (down))and all of the 3 interfaces have different
network numbers...lets say:
SER = 193.1.1.0
ETH = 195.1.1.0
BRI = 196.1.1.0

Only the Serial interfaces are UP and the ethernet and the BRI are
down...(the BRI is down because its in standy mode)
DOES RIP ALLSO BROADCAST ROUTES (NETWORK NUMBERS) WHERE TEH INTERFACES ARE
DOWN OF?

And if the answer is yes how does it know the Network number of ISDN if the
serial goes down...?

Because it has to know the IP/NETWORK to take over the line right?

Well i hop someone can help me with this one ...and sorry for my long
question...

Thank You,

Iwan
