I have a problem with APS for Packet over Sonet. I have two GSRs side by side connecting to the same ISP. I have GSR-1 set as the Active and GSR-2 as the Protect side. Everything fails over apropriate if I shut or pull the cable on the Active side. The problem is when GSR-1 with the Active POS interface is shut down or reloaded the secondary POS interface on GSR-2 never comes out of protect mode. Has anyone else experienced this?
