The aux vlan is for ip phones to use a separate vlan for the phone data.
Try the no or clear in front of it...

Subject: port auxiliaryvlan [7:71535]

Hi Group,

on one of our Cat 6500 switches there is this setting:

set port auxiliaryvlan 5/18 140

It is not appropriate and we want to get rid of it but I've searched for
over an hour at the Cisco-site to find the command to remove this
setting. Does anyone on this list know the solution?

Thanks,

Lesly Verdier
