Hi, Concerning your question if you need to configure trunking on the router also - the answer is that it depends on your network topology and configuration.
If your router needs to do the routing between the VLANs you will probably need the tagging. By the way this kind of configuration is called router-on-a-stick. Another option is to use one router ethernet interface per VLAN although this option doesn't scale well, so trunking is recommended.
