I made the same mistake.. are you running late model code ? they have option to run 3 kinds of lan2lan tunnels, originate only, answer only, and Bi-directional.
Do you have any lan2lan tunnels config'd ? First thing DISABLE vrrp Configuration > System > Ip routing > redundancy on both. If you're just running client connections you don't need vrrp. instead use Configuration | System | Load Balancing this is VCA. to get everything stable again, you may need to totally blow away the config file.. Administration | File Management once all files there are deleted (even .bak ones) just hit the power switch.. reconfigure from scratch (remember you need a straight 1-8, 1-8 db9 female to db9 female cable to console back in. You can also drop in a config from a before this snafu backup. let me know.. I have pretty fixed alot of major mishaps with these..
