Would EIGRP require coordination with other routers, though? They would have to be running EIGRP too? How about static routes with a floating static route? Make the satellite a floater with a high administrative distance so that it only gets used when the other option (802.11b) isn't available? (when in the field??) I may not have understood the problem, though.
