I see the your point entirely, but I can also see that a Paypal account
would do no harm if it is seen as a donation for services already provided -
not a subscription for services expected.

How about starting one Paul. No advertisement required, but I think the
sentence above would cover the sentiment of the whole thing. Everyone knows
you don't really want to go down the road of a paying service.
But I think I can sum up the feelings of those of us who've been coming here
for years (and probably those who haven't). I have progressed at work
sometimes without knowing how I've done it. The general knowledge that is
picked up from a group with such a broad range of experience and a trusty
bunch of guru's lurking in the background to clean up most posts is
something you can't pay for anywhere, but most would contribute to keep
around, even if it just provides for future improvements.

I caught the Groupstudy bug a couple of years ago, when I did a bit of
investigation in to some problem and Howard Berkowitz complemented me on the
work. Shortly afterwards I asked a question about a book and a few posts
down the thread the author answered my question (PO).

Do what you feel is right but I'm sure you will be backed by the majority
whatever you decide.

Best regards,

Bikespace
