Onderwerp: Metric of OSPF Summary Routes [7:74361]

Is there a way to define the metric of a OSPF summary route?

This is strange, but two routers with the same IOS (and similar commands)
are using different approaches: one router is using the highest metric of
more specific routes, while the other router is using the lower metric.

This one is using the higher metric:

LS age: 1405
  Options: (No TOS-capability, DC, Upward)
  LS Type: Summary Links(Network)
Link State ID: 100.7.0.0 (summary Network Number)
  Advertising Router: rta
  LS Seq Number: 80016DE5
  Checksum: 0x6A95
  Length: 28
  Network Mask: /16
        TOS: 0 Metric: 1603

This one is using the lower metric:

Routing Bit Set on this LSA
  LS age: 946
  Options: (No TOS-capability, DC, Upward)
  LS Type: Summary Links(Network)
Link State ID: 100.7.0.0 (summary Network Number)
  Advertising Router: rtb
  LS Seq Number: 80008D8C
  Checksum: 0x3E53
  Length: 28
  Network Mask: /16
        TOS: 0 Metric: 0

The only difference is the platform: one is 7507 and the other 4700.
