Hi Hans

This is an old e-mail, as you can see (29/6/1999) . Not sure if 3600 still does
not support.

>A. The Cisco 3640 bundles support the majority of Cisco 5200 features, with
the following exceptions:
>-Modem pooling---The ability to logically group a set of modems and relate
them to a specific phone number; also, the Cisco 3600 modems do not support
CAM.
>-Individual modem firmware download---All MICA modems in a Cisco 3600 are
viewed as one group and are loaded with the same version of Portware.
>-V.110 support - The 5300 should be utilized in this case

Assunto: 3620 Modem Pooling

Hello colleagues,

do you know if it is possible to configure different modem pools on a 3620 ?
And if so, does it matter what kind of modem module I use
(6/12/18/24/30-port digital modem or 8/16-port analog modem) ? Can I just
use the modem-pool IOS command ?
Thanks in advance for your help, I couldn't find any docs online on this.

Regards,

Georg Pauwen
