Just so everyone knows, the last three times I have tested, I was presented
with a useless little add, subtract, multiply, divide calculator, which was
at my disposal during my tests.

If you don't know subnetting, a calculator won't help you anyway. Certainly
not the one I had available.

And yes, the test proctor is the one who presented it to me, along with the
blank sheets of plastic ( yuch!!!!!! )

Probably no, because subneting questions really does not involve
complex calculations. You are only aloud a pen and peace of paper. You can
write anything on that paper before starting the test, if subneting is your
concern I advice you to write all important aspects of subneting/chart and
OSI, onto that paper so that you don't forget.
