Dear chuck,

Thanks for the material. It is quite helpful. But there is one more
problem w.r.t. this.

I have 2 remotes which are connected thru VSATs and I want to make call
from one remote to the other remote. The VSAT configuration has already
been configured.

The setup is like this.

Remote 1 - - -VSAT link - - - - - - - - HUB - - - VSAT link- - - - - -
Remote 2

So the voice has to travel double hop.
At hub our proprietry hardware is in place for communicating all the
remotes. The AS5300 router is connected to the hardware at Hub using UTP
hub. The Hub hardware and the AS5300 router are on the same LAN.

I just wanted to know the dialing plan for both the remotes to call each
other. What all commands should be there in the AS5300 router so that
remote 1 can call remote 2 and vice versa.

If understood, kndly give me the config for this setup.

Otherwise mail me, i will explain in detail.

Thanks in advance
Hitesh

Thanks a lot chuck, I have already downloaded some material from the same
url from cisco site.

I am new to this AS5300 so i want to have a basic idea of that. If you can
explain me then i will be able to learn more easily.

Anyway i am also reading the docs.

Thanks
Hitesh

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/acs_serv/5300/

easily found from the Cisco home page. PRODUCT & TECHNOLOGIES drop down
menu ( upper center of the page ), ACCESS ROUTERS, find the AS5300 section
and choose documentation.

As always, CCO is the place to begin.
