For the members who use the digest for it becomes a mess and publishing on
web pages becomes messy also.
Don't forget many members don''t have cheap high speed access and may pay
by the minute and or what they download.
Then by using HTML we end us with 60 K posts because everyone likes a
background and pic of their favorite dog.
And just to make more painful some whacked out font which then kicks the
browsers into loading yet more garbage.
And aside from all that many folks use unix etc and the some email
client 's don't do so well with html ..
Ditto for the newsgroups as every note you send gets posted on the
newsgroup as well
