What month are you using??
I have installed July 2000 with just a little bit of fuss.
I had the same error.
The software installs to the default c:\cisco
First perform an uninstall of all cco software.
Then delete the entire c:\cisco directory.
Reboot.
Re-install.
That worked for me.
