The book for CCNA 2.0 says that we can have different passwords for
different vty lines when I am using Telnet on a Router.
Can anyone tell me how do I know which vty line am I going to connect to so
that I can use the required password?

I tried telnet onto a router but it never shows what vty line number has
been occupied by me unless I log in to the router and give "sh users"
Thanks
