Hmmm
"I see no evidence that Network+ is of value although the knowledge tested
by the exam is useful."
Not sure by what you mean here (grin)
Novell Accept it as one of the tests for CNE
the exam is just a test of basic networking knowledge thats all .
May push you past someone else who does not have it .
It's good primer to CCNA but not a substitute but also it's not Cisco
centric either .
CCNA's should be able to pass it easily but not vice versa
It may help folks getting their foot in the door type of deal .
Comptia certs are all designed to be just a basic standard and nothing
more .
Some of the bigger corps look for them and some don;t
Considering you can study it on the web for free and the
test is $185 for a newcomer it would make sense I guess.
I have to take it tommorow as I will be teaching it amongst
other things .
Busy cramming now LOL
making me remeber all the things I have spent so much time in forgetting
(grin)

Do companies know that the ComTIA's new certification exist ?
Network+ ? Does it have any value compared to the CCNA ?
I see no evidence that Network+ is of value although the knowledge tested by
the exam is useful.
A query on job search engines can't
even pull up anything because the cert is so awkwardly named . . .
What are you guys/gals thoughts on this ?
