DETAILED SESSION DESCRIPTIONS
Keynote Address - Becoming An eGovernment, 8:00 8:45a.m.
This will discuss the technology changes that have made true eBusiness
possible.
Walker White, from Oracle, will then give some real world examples of how
folks can get started
in their organizations by reaping the benefits of information technologies
(Broader access at reduced cost) in the Internet Age.

Session 001 VPN/IPSEC, 9:00 -10:15 a.m.
Level 2
This seminar will introduce the fundamental concepts and protocols
associated with network layer security and tunneling. Seminar topics will
include an exploration of encryption protocols (DES/3DES), hashing
algorithms (MD5/SHA), digital signatures (HMAC/RSA/DSA), and IPSec transport
modes as they apply to network-layer VPNs.

Session 002 Design for High Availability Network, 9:00 -10:15 a.m.
Level 2
This presentation discusses the elements of high availability networking and
availability management. Following an introduction on the elements of
availability and availability definitions, the discussion moves to
theoretical availability calculation and measuring availability. Leading
causes of unavailability are then discussed in more detail with measurement
and improvement guidelines.

Session 003 Implementing QoS in a VoIP Architecture, 9:00 -10:15 a.m.
Level 3
This course will provide techniques for implementing end-to-end QoS that is
required for a successful VoIP deployment. This will require a base
knowledge of IOS, CatOS, Cisco products and QoS theories that apply to each.

Session 004 Enterprise Campus/WAN IP Telephony Design and Implementation,
10:30 -11:30 a.m.
Level 2
A description of the systems components, deployment models, design
considerations, and legacy migration strategies.

Session 005 CDN Content Networking, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Level 2
This session will provide an overview of the products that enable Content
Deliver Networks (CDNs), including Cisco's Caching and Load Balancing
solutions. It will also cover new products from the SightPath and Arrowpoint
acquisitions. This will provide a better understanding of the networking
issues encountered in content delivery.

Session 006 Multicast, 10:3012:00 p.m.
Level 3
This overview will cover deploying multicast within an enterprise
environment. Issues regarding the operation of both dense and sparse modes
of the PIM protocol will be covered. This will include RFP forwarding, flood
and prune, joining the shared tree, and registering sources.

Session 007 Lunch (First Seating), 11:30 - 12:30 p.m.

Session 008 IBSG, Architecting an Internet Organization, 11:30 - 12:30 p.m.
Level 1
This presentation will be using Cisco as a case study to discuss Cisco's
best practices using internet applications. It will cover 'net readinesss'
citing Government examples. The Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group
works with Cisco customers to accelerate their success in the internet
economy, focusing on providing business and technology expertise in
developing and implementing internet business strategies and solutions.

Session 009 Lunch (Second Seating), 12:30 1:30p.m.

Session 0010 Campus Design, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Level 2
This presentation will focus on effective campus LAN design from both the
layer 2 and layer 3 perspective. Switching, Layer 3 switching, effective
deployment of Ethernet technology (fast and gigabit), quality of service
mechanisms and multicast design considerations will be discussed.

Session 011 Deploying Secure Networks, 12:30 -1:30 p.m.
Level 2
This session will discuss the elements of deploying security across an
enterprise network. This includes firewalls, intrusion detection and
traffic management to help prevent some of the most typical types of
attacks, including Distributed Denial of Service attacks. The presentation
will provide an initial network design and go through what a typical attack
might look like and then, based on the outcome of the attack, a new network
design will be presented and then the attack will be retried.

Session 012 Introduction to Optical, 1:45 -3:00 p.m.
Level 2
This presentation will provide an overview to optical technology, which is
gaining popularity as a cost effective and efficient means for metropolitan
as well as wide area traffic transport. Optical fundamentals such as SONET,
dense wave division multiplexing (DWDM) and wavelength routing will be
introduced and discussed.

Session 013 IP Mobility, 1:45 -3:00 p.m.
Level 2
In this session you will get valuable information on current and future IP
mobility solutions. The session will describe new features in the Cisco IOS
that facilitate communications in mobile environments such as communications
systems in vehicles, ships, and planes. These features are an extension to
Mobile IP, which will also be discussed in the session.

Session 014 AVVID - Video, 1:45 -3:00 p.m.
Level 2
The presentation will concern the convergence of video on to the IP network.
Advances in Quality of Service (QoS) allow Enterprises to deliver
high-quality videoconferencing, broadcast television, and video-on-demand to
users throughout the IP network. We will look at how these applications can
be implemented, and how we can manage the bandwidth they consume.

Session 015 Wireless, 3:15 -4:30 p.m.
Level 2
Presentation will focus on the IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN standard, and Cisco
802.11 Wireless LAN solutions.

Session 016 Network Management, 3:15 -4:30 p.m.
Level 2
The session will provide an overview of the CiscoWorks2000 product family
and policy management products. This will cover the Cisco strategy for
network management, tools that address the management of layer 3 switching,
routed WAN, deploying consistent security and QoS policies.

Session 017 Networking Trends and Directions, 3:15 -4:30 p.m.
Level 1
The networking world is continuing to evolve due to changes in technology
development and business requirements promoting the "E-" environments. This
