A number of you have been requesting a list just dedicated to CCNA/CCDA candidates. Well here it is! Announcing a new GroupStudy List dedicated to the study of Introductory Networking Certifications such as Cisco's CCNA/CCDA program! A number of people have told me that they feel intimidated about asking basic questions on the GroupStudy Cisco Certification List. Now there is a place for people new to the networking field to ask questions and find answers. This new list should remove some traffic off the already saturated GroupStudy Cisco Certification discussion. The GroupStudy Cisco Certification list will become more geared towards the professional certifications (CCNP/ CCDP/ CCIE Written) and general networking technology. Eventually a professional list will be created leaving the original GroupStudy Cisco Certification List as a general networking technology list. The list has become a resource for general networking questions anyway, so why not make it official? The associate list will be available via the newsgroup and mailing list. But there is more! The Associate list will be available on the WEB! No more e-mail or news client required to read the list. Now you will be able to read the list from anywhere in the world via a web browser. In the future, all discussion groups will have web interfaces. Ok, so how do you join. The easiest way is via the newsfeed. Just point your news reader to news.groupstudy.com and select the groupstudy.associate list. You may also join via the mailing list. Send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the body containing: subscribe associate ----------------------------------------- FAQ: What if I hate this idea? Simply subscribe to both lists and it will feel as if the list never split. If you really hate the idea, I have setup a special e-mail address for you to gripe and complain. Send all correspondents to [EMAIL PROTECTED] :-). That address sends the message to a special file (/dev/null) which I promise to check regularly. Can CCNA/CCDA candidates stay on the GroupStudy Cisco List? Of course, this list is just an additional tool for you to use. You may continue to participate on the original list. Plus the original list is now for any networking technical discussion so you may want to participate in both. This list is beta so please send me any problem reports. Take care, Paul Borghese ___________________________________ UPDATED Posting Guidelines: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/guide.html FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
