Sanjay,

What duplex/speed settings do you have the switch configured at? Is it
set to autonegotiate? What ports is the customer connected to? Are there
any error counters that are incrementing.

You could manually set the speed on a single port of the switch and
connected end device and then do a test with data transfer and see what
is happening. Often in these cases you will find it to be a speed/duplex
mismatch between the end device.
