My company want to set up a backup internet connection. That ISP suggest to run BGP on a Cisco 2620 router. If our main internet connection go down, the back up connection should be up. That ISP charge by how many packet pass through its connection. My question are: (1). If there is any info. or whit paper I can download ? (2). Any body has set up this kind of connection before? (3). What kind of information I need from ISP before I set up BGP. I know I need a AS number , negihbor network address, what else ?
