The two Microsoft knowledge base articles that really help with the Netbios 
browsing accross routed Domains issue in Windows are:

Q181501 Dial-UP Clients can not browse the network
Q150800 Domain Browsing with TCP/IP and LMHOSTS Files

Print them out, stick them in a binder, and don't ever lose it.
