CatOS or NativeIOS mode?

I am in the process of implimenting a new network design and I wanted to ask everyones opinion on which configuration mode to use on my 6509's.  Should I stick with a hybrid CATOS and IOS mode or should I use the NativeIOS mode.... Since I am familar with routers and with XL series switches, going with the Native IOS mode is an interesting option... Are there any drawbacks to using this mode over the standard XDI/CatOS interface?    I look foward to hearing from you.   -- Kevin
