We have that config to allow third parties access to our frame network, but
to provide a buffer in case (as an example) they have a DSL line without a
firewall, or a VPN solution, or they are part of a larger corporate network
which we do not neccesarily want to access our frame cloud.
Now keep in mind this kind of security can easily be bypassed by using NAT,
so it is one of many things you can and need to do in order to secure your
network.
HTH,
Casey
