Most likely your IOS version does not include IPSec. When you purchase the
IOS, you have the option to purchase with/without the IPSec option.

Subject: Enabling IPSec on 12.0(7)t

Dear All,

I'm trying to have IPSec connection to my router from another one. but the
command crypto is not available. The current IOS ver is 12.0(7)t and I found

on Cisco that version supports IPSec.

Any idea why I can't use such command?

Best regards,
Ref
