Hello all,
I have a really wierd problem related to Etherchannel. First off I have
multiple Compaq servers using Etherchannel capable cards connecting to
2924XL switches. My backup server cannot seem to connect to my notees server
when using an Etherchannel connection. I can ping the server, but cannot map
a drive (net use..) From the backup server I can map to other servers
running Etherchannel and not. Just not to the notes server . If I
disconnect one of the Ethernet cable from my backup server.(still keeping my
etherchannel config on the switch and server) I can then connect to the
notes server fine. Plug it back in and a few minutes later, no (net use)
connectivity to the notes server again. The Notes server is not running and
Etherchannel connection and is connected to a second 2924 switch which has a
100TX connection to the switch that the backup server is connected to. One
more wrench in the equation, I have another server running the same nic
cards inan Etherchannel config, in a Etherchannel group on the same switch
as the backup server that has no problem mapping to the notes server I have
checked my config and everything is good. ports in the group set to
portfast/100/full duplex..Any Ideas??
