I have lab tested all the devices that you have mentioned in here. the best of the lot is from a company called Alteon Web sytems. That equipment is terrific. If you go to their website, you can pull out some white papers. I can send u some lab results on these if u so desire. -----Original Message----- From: Kevin Welch [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sat, 14 Oct 2000 00:07:43 -0700 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: High Availability. (Maybe OT) Actually Cisco has a Content Caching Switch (CSS Something for the model) That is a very nice unit, they are a variety of different sizes, and the entry price is comparable to a LocalDirector. The Content Switch, will allow you to be alot more granular in traffic forwarding. -- Kevin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brian" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Priscilla Oppenheimer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, October 13, 2000 1:08 PM Subject: Re: High Availability.
