Hi all,
I'm monitoring a 7206 router with 128 MB of memory.
for sure there are access lists assigned and SNMP traps configured to enable a
monitoring server to perform its job.
I have noticed that when I reloaded the router last
month, the monitoring agent could not function, while all necessary access lists
are assigned correctly. Reloading the router again, I could do monitoring
completely. then I discovered that Telneting the router from inside was not
available. until I reloaed it again, the telnet option came back but monitoring
was disabled. I beleive if I reload the router, I will have the second option
but will loss the first.
have anyone noticed such behaviour from cisco
routers?
Thanks,
