-any type of encryption running on the WAN/ATM ( ipsec, etc. )
-who has access to the WAN link, either OC3, T3, T1, etc....( im talking
about the actual physical box where the lines reside...if there outside
the building, watch out for vampire taps, etc )
-ask them what type of telco would take over incase of hardware failure
-are the backup routers and atm cards on site for quick recovery
these are the problems I personally ran into when deploying Lucent/ATM w/ cisco 3661's across our WAN
