Andy,

Another way is to use a script under a standard comm's application...or take
it a step further and use Perl!
Free/share-ware ones are available from www.download.com
The best freeware one is

One final way is to use SNMP, check the above site for further details, and
use the MIB's on each router to pull in a copy of the config.
This is also a good way of pulling the config off a router if you have
forgotten the console/telnet password...just have to make sure you set the
communities
correctly...then use the numerous de-encryption utils to un-encrypt the
password!
