Are you using the documentation that came with the modem to enter the
correct commands into the modem? I suspect you are not using the correct
commands to either enter or save the new parameters. If you don't have the
docs that came with the modems, go to the manufacturers website and download
them.
If, after having gotten the modems to save their parameters, you still have
problems, note their firmware revision and cross reference with the
TAC bug database to see if their are any known problems with certain IOS
revs and MICA modem revs.
BTW, Cisco also has tons of general information on MICA modems. Run a
search for 'mica modems' and you will have more info that you need.
