When I was messing around with my lab, I telnetted from my 3640 to my 2501
and changed the ip on the 2501 interface I was connected on and it of course
killed my connection. It did not exit me back to the 3640's prompt though. I
can log in on the aux port and see that the console is still active, but is
there a way to kill the console? I know I could turn the router off, but
then I wouldn't learn anything. I could also put a timeout on the EXEC
session. Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Joey Fowler

seems that intense desire creates not only its own opportunities, but its
own talents.
