To John Day:

Thanks for your comments, hopefully they will find their mark with those
whose contributions tend not to be positive.

There are times when some on this list (myself included, and I'm still
embarrassed about a thread from last summer <g>) have let threads get out of
hand, devolving into unprofessional flame wars. We all, Pradeep included,
should try to avoid those at all times. If we are--or strive to
be--professionals, we should behave that way.

To Pradeep:

Perhaps you have a sense of humor that we have not figured out yet, but very
often your posts seem to be confrontational and/or demeaning. Whether you
really intend to come across this way or not, that is how we see you. So I
would have to stand with John on this one and ask that everyone--including
you--try to keep the postings on this list professional and constructive.

Regards (and hoping this very thread does not become a flame war),
John Neiberger
