How do I tell how much memory is in a Cisco 3000
(exact model number, I think, is 3206. Old token
ring router.)

There is a hiatus in the sequence of events, as the
power supply failed in the middle of troubleshooting
the memory.

This router, as I recall, had 1 MB memory. I found
some replacement SIMM's which I thought were 1 MB
each, for a 4 MB upgrade. This is before the power
supply problem. But they appeared to the router as
1 MB total.

We found some SIMM's that we were sure were 1 MB each.
The router failed to completely boot up. We fixed
the power supply, and two weeks later put the second
set of SIMM's back in. And now it shows 4 MB, which
is what we hoped for.

So I'm thinking: is it 4 MB? or am I looking in the
wrong place? Or did I read it wrong 3 weeks ago?
So I want a sanity check: how do I tell how much
memory is in the router?

Thanks,
