<P>I've set up a static NAT entry on a remote dual ethernet router(name of router is
remote1), the global address that the local device will translate to is 10.10.10.100
this Global address is not in the subnet of the IP address on either interface, so I
have set up a loopback address with IP address 10.10.10.1/24 and have placed it in the
OSPF process on the remote router( network 10.10.10.0 0.0.0.255 area 1), so that other
routers in the same OSPF group will see the advertised Global network, ( as all Global
addresses will be in the 10.10.10.x/24 network), and know where to send any data that
has been translated.</P>
<P>However on a Core router that is attached to remote1 via it's ethernet0, and is on
the same OSPF process as remote1, when "show ip route" is typed on the Core router
this is observed.</P>
<P>O 10.10.10.1/32 [110/11] via 10.1.1.33, 00:16:08, Ethernet0.</P>
<P>Instead of the whole 10.10.10.0/24 network being advertised, only the explicit
address of remote1 has been advertised.</P>
<P>therefore the global NAT address of 10.10.10.100 is unknown to other routers
besides remote1.</P>
<P>What do I need to do to get the whole 10.10.10.0/24 network being advertised via
OSPF, so that the other routers will know where to send NAT data.</P>
<P>Is the only way is to set a static route at the core router and redistribute it.</P>
