If the trunk port on the switch is 100 Mbps only, and the trunk port on the
router is 10 Mbps only, you can connect them with a dual-speed hub. The
switch uses a straight cable to the uplink (MDI) port on the hub, or uses a
crossover cable to any MDIX port. The router uses a straight cable to any
MDIX port on the hub.
