This was discussed earlier regarding the error message for a tftp server.
However, my question was still unanswered.

As suggested, the way to correct this is as follows:

Router(config)#no service config
Router(config)#Ctrl-Z

This eliminates the error message during the session. But after clearing up
the config (for another lab set-up), the tftp error problem repeats.

To clear the config I do:
Router#erase nvram
Router#reload

After these commands and the router boots up, the tftp error problem
reappears. I notice though that this problem occurs not with all the routers
after the reload. Could this be a IOS version specific problem or this has
something to do with the configuration register?

Thanks for the help.

Arthur
