Well, took the test (finally) this morning and passed with a 946 (out of =
849 to pass, as almost everyone knows by now). I really want to go back =
to the Cisco Press CCNA study guide, it was much more thorough (and less =
error riddled) than Lammle's Sybex book. Not that the Sybex didn't have =
it's merits, it just simplified things too much. Of course when I =
started this months ago I didn't think so, but I am ever so much smarter =
now! :)=20

Time for a cold beer me thinks - sure it's only 10:13am, but as Lionel =
Hutz would say "yeah, but I've been up for days!"

If anyone is looking for advice, best I can say is that personally I =
didn't think the test was that tough or worded poorly, but that could =
have just be my lot of questions. Can't really tell you what to focus on =
as the test was kind of all over. I didn't get as many Frame Relay =
questions as I had anticipated, which was fortunate for me as my FR =
knowledge sucks. It's an area I definitely need a better handle on. As =
others have said before me, READ the question, if you skim, like I have =
a tendency to do, you'll regret it.=20

Anyway, after my beer I think I'll look into where to go next. Even =
though I know a lot of people say the CCNA test is simple and anyone =
could pass it, I'm still pleased that I managed to do so. I think I have =
enough theoretical knowledge and hands on experience not to cheapen the =
cert. Least ways I hope so :)

Anyway, have a good weekend everyone! And thanks millions for all the =
great posts here, I got a lot of in depth info from this group, I hope =
to be able to start contributing soon....

Later
Patrick
